Just a heads-up that I turned off mid-roll ads (ads during the episode). I don't know why YouTube has started running so many more lately. - Daemon

There's something delightful about a weekly dose of Justin talking about his adventures in Lord of the Rings Online

I'm worried Game Scoop will disappear after Spelunky 2 comes out.

i love this short-term Justin/LOTR Online segment.

Not sure if anyone else has explained it yet, but the virtual "gunk" on the wheels of the kart was to create the path for your track. It looked like you have to use that in conjunction with the gates to make the track design you want.

Yay, it’s time for my weekly dose of sanity during the pandemic.

For the Mario Kart : You can trace the circuit with the car and then race it. Kinda like the cardboard bike one. You can see it in the trailer, Mario has some purple paint on his tires when he does. So basically you can do what you want. Looks like you still have to pass by the 4 checkpoints too.

I dont recall Nintendo stating that Mario Allstars 3D was only limited as a bundle for 6 months. They said the physical and digital versions would be available for 6 months. Theres no hint of them being sold individually after that time.

No gamecube controller support for Sunshine. The analogue triggers made the original control scheme work so well

Just want to point out for the live Mario Kart game to make your track there is a pre-race phase, that you can see in the trailer, that puts paint on your wheels and you physically drive your cart around your house to "paint the track" in AR. Then once the circuit is complete the game auto straightens it out and puts all the power-ups down.

Game Scoop, the very best way to start your saturday. Thanks for always being awesome Omega Cops!

I think the way Mario Kart works is you set up the gates, then you go into a track creator mode. That is what puts the pink "gunk" on your tires. You then go out and create your track by driving the cart, being sure to pass under the gates in sequential order. Thats how it came across to me at least. Very well could be wrong lol.

Mario 64 really should have had more work done to it for 60fps, widescreen and modern camera control. Sam makes a great point bringing up Banjo Kazooie on Xbox. Galaxy 2 should be in there too.

A correction for Seth:On the official website it says that you can use the touch screen instead of joy con for Mario galaxy (in handheld mode or with switch light)

Guys the word bonk in the uk means something different.
Your friend asks “Did you bonk her?”

I’m with Justin in regard to the Mario 3D collection, Nintendo could have done a lot more and it seems as if they decided to make the game a couple of weeks ago. Nintendo fans as usual are looking at it through their Nintendo rose tints

As much as I'd love for Nintendo to do full remake remasters, I think the point is this is not just a collection, it's an anniversary collection, celebrating his past 35 years. Seeing boxy m64 Mario standing beside the Sunshine & Galaxy Marios on the box cover, or then playing the games chronologically is the point. Just like the end of the Direct when they showed footage of all the Marios games in order.

@58:46 the artwork for the Gladiator is taken from the famous painting 1872 painting, Pollice Verso (Gérôme) (“Thumb turned down”) https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pollice_Verso_(G%C3%A9r%C3%B4me)

I love how the Mission Impossible ad says “Need We Say More?”, then they follow it up with 2 lengthy paragraphs...... So yes...... I guess they needed to say more......

To Bonk in the UK means...um...you know...that section was very funny for me. You guys said it way too many times :)
