You don't know how much this video means to me, I'm in a situation that will result in me being temporarily homeless in a few weeks with no solution to the problem, but as I'm scrolling on YouTube I come across this video, I have a 2010 Ford ranger and this idea and design is going to give me a home until I can afford a place. Thankyou sincerely

That 5-spd is better than a car alarm. Most of the thieves out there today have no idea how to drive a stick. 😂

5 speed manual and manual windows, truly that truck will last!

When talent is freed from the narrow limiting confines of work parameters it can produce artistic, inspired creations Ü

CO DETECTOR is a must. Also open ventilation when running the open flame.

It's very cute. The wood work is gorgeous.

I absolutely LOVE this!!! I have a 2011 Ranger gifted to me from my Dad when he passed and I have been mentally planning a way to turn the bed into something I could camp in. I am so stoked after seeing your video! Thank you for sharing!

I found this video a few months ago and for some reason I got motivated with this idea. It's been stuck in my mind for a while that's for sure.

Been thinking and planning for a year now. Your build has inspired me to do a similar build on my just finished Ford F150 all aluminum 7 foot by 8 foot flatbed. I may do a 14 inch cab over extension but I really like “cozy”, like you. I will never be having more than one traveling guest, so a 7x8 foot camper will be just right. I am a furniture maker, so this one will be a great fun creative build for me. Thanks for sharing. You did a great job. Simply beautiful use and creativity using wood.

Gotta love the minimalist camper... pulls out a 3 inch tall container and says "a TON of room for pillows, blankets, clothes, additional roommates...." lol

Thank you for reading my mind and building something I couldn't. WOW Great job!

This is awesome!!! I think you should take this up as a business too. I am sure there are many of us overlanders who would be excited about this 👍

This is so cool! Beautiful wood inside and out and really does feel like a cozy cabin. One tiny suggestion, and you may have already done this. Attach a piece of thin, flat, black weather stripping across the bottom of your door to keep out wind and insects. It goes on the outside and will seal against the tailgate when you close the door. It is out of the way on the outside and shouldn't prevent you from opening the tailgate with the door closed. This is a beautiful well designed and well built camper.
