Ma longs worst nightmare ever. Only Wang Hao can do this to Ma long.

One of the most iconic era Ma Long, Wang Hao, Zhang Jike.

Ma Long first became world ranked number 1 in Jan 2010, for a year, and generally became the dominant player in the world from when he regained the top spot in Oct 2011 and set about marmalising everyone in sight almost all the time. Wang Hao outplaying him in the world semi's, both here and again in 2013, do not look like flukes. Ma Long looks far less comfortable vs Wang Hao than against anyone else; he does not read Wang's shots, so always looks slightly off the pace. I have never seen him like this against anyone else, no matter how big the match. Wang Hao's cleverness deserves credit. The fact that Wang Hao could only win one of his 3 World finals and 3 Olympic finals shows how tough it is when the very best are well-matched. He would have transcended the sport if he had won all of them. As it is, Ma Long is left to rue the fact that he could already be triple world champion if not for Wang Hao. And Jiang Jike, who adapted much better to Wang Hao's style and read his RPB well but almost always came off second best to Ma Long's massive power game, walks off with 2 world titles, thank you nicely. Such is sport.

What a fabulous backhand from Wang Hao, the former world champ and an incredible match against the reigning world no. 1, Ma Long.

If only Xu Xin had that backhand 😅

2:31 just perfection

It is sad  that there  is no  other Player  at the moment which  dominated  Ma Long this way.
In my opinion  Wang Hao was the best Chinese  Player ever.
