"Ver-sa-lees" is the biggest glitch of them all.

In 1997 I flew to Costa Mesa, CA for a week-long class for a document management system we were installing in my office.  When I walked into the classroom, the instructor turned around from the whiteboard she was writing on to greet me.  I immediately got this overwhelming feeling that we had met before.  I didn't say anything to her about it right away because I wanted to try to figure out where we'd met first.  A couple of days later I was still drawing a blank, so after class I told her that I that I was sure we'd met before, but couldn't place when or where.  I was shocked when she said she had the exact same feeling.  We sat down and started comparing notes -- where we had lived, worked, vacationed, visited.  Nothing.  I grew up and still lived on the east coast near Washington, DC, and she grew up and still lived in southern California.  She had never been to the DC area, and the only other time I had been to California was in 1983 for a wedding in the SF Bay area, and she wasn't there that year.  There were several places we had both been, but not at the same time.  We spent hours brainstorming over beers after class each evening, but by the end of the week we had exhausted all possibilities.  We had to conclude that we had never actually met until that first day of class, which left us both with a surreal feeling of unfinished business.

What’s the point in saying “unalived” when seconds before you were able to say “kiIIed” without censorship?…

we need a follow-up episode on the missing hamburger meat!

When I was in my twenties I went to Belgium for the first time on a four-day break. As a souvenir, I bought myself a penknife from a small gift-shop on the coast.  Imagine a Swiss Army knife except it was a beautiful emerald green and silver, with engraved birds and trees on the handle.
When I got home,  I was sitting on my bed admiring the knife and looking how well made it was, when I needed the toilet, so I left the knife on my bed, and when I got back it was gone. I was alone in the house at the time, and looked everywhere for it, under my bed, inside the bedding, but I never did see it again. Even when I moved out a few years later and took everything out of my old room I still didn't find it.
I still often wonder where it went...

Excellent James 😁😁👍

That time slip happened to me back in 2018. I was in a restaurant in Blackpool. I looked around for about a minute. Next thing, an hour had passed. Totally bizarre.

@2:12 This is known as The Gadianton Canyon Incident. This video only scratches the surface of it. Apparently there is an actual police report regarding it from the state trooper who found them the next day. Someone really needs to make an in-depth documentary about this because it's one of the craziest things I've ever heard.

At 3:00, Versailles is to sound like ver-SIGH.

Waiting for the pronunciation of Versailles to spark an international diplomatic incident.

I love my glass rectangle ❤
