This is a vegan pasta bake, it is a comforting, warm casserole made with tender pasta, rich plant-based tomato sauce, bechamel white sauce and melted cheese. It is creamy and delicious; it is worth the effort to make it.

I do not use any meat products; it is eggless, totally vegetarian and high in protein as well. I preferred using soya mince as a meat replacement and the pasta bake turned out divine. Having the marinara tomato sauce accompanied with the bechamel sauce added much more creaminess and decadence to this recipe. To top it off add handfuls of hard cheese and you get this beautiful and golden crust.
