Classic episode of Deals on Wheels, originally broadcast on Channel 4 from 1997 - 2001, presented by Mike Brewer and Richard Sutton. This episode features a scruffy Citroen BX, Ford Puma, Volkswagen Golf VR6 and Triumph Stag. If you watched Deals on Wheels, you'll surely remember this episode if only for that tatty Citroen!

Would be great to have this format of car show on TV nowadays.
I think Wheeler Dealers is far too US based now, and should (well some time) feature UK episodes.

Mike is one of the most successful car presenter of all time . His career is stellar . Made millions . Pity so many are dying with jealousy.

Can’t believe Mike thought a dealer was going to give him good money for the golf. What was he thinking lol

Just check the MOT on the Puma. Still on the road with only 45k miles on the clock at its MOT last year (2019)

If the Ford Puma was on Deals On Wheels nowadays. They'd be checking for rust on the wheel arches, sills, and for accident damage. They're great cars and a future classic. It's also great to see Deal On Wheels on YouTube too.

That guy with the BX sold the buyer a complete nail and it got scrapped not long after. MK1 BX's are rare now and surviving ones are fetching good money now.
