How I Used a Comb & Spray Paint for Unique FluidArt Effects 20+ Colors! Paintpouring by MarjoleinART

In this video, I'm using over 20 different colors!! all shades of pink, red, and purple. And guess what? They’re all leftover paints I found hiding in my studio closet. Time for a fresh start soon with new paint, but first… let’s use these up!
Some of them had been sitting there for quite a while, and yes, one of them even had mold.
Of course, I had to show you that! 🤢
Partway through, I had the idea to bring in a comb to create some cool lines and textures. Definitely something I’ll be trying more often!
Though... by the end, it kinda disappeared under the other layers! But hey, that’s fluid art!!
...I’m working on a 60 by 40 cm canvas, that’s around 24 by 16 inches, so there’s plenty of space to play with all these colors!
Mixing Ratio for Paints:
1 part paint : 2 parts Owatrol Floetrol : 2 parts water
☁️ CloudMix Recipe:
• 1 part Titanium White (Liquitex)
• 0.5 part Satin Enamels (DecoArt)
• 2 parts Pouring Medium
→ (3 parts Owatrol Floetrol / 1 part Liquitex Gloss Medium)
• 2 parts water

⚪ Cell Activator Recipe:
• 1 part Titanium White
• 3 parts Australian Floetrol

And I used my Metallic Gold Spraypaint

1:02 – All my leftover paints... what was I thinking?! Moldy ones? Ew!

5:24 – Smell test, check, and thin them down
9:30 – Drip test on a still-wrapped canvas
12:15 – Prepping the canvas – but first, clean it up!
14:12 – The comb is calling – let’s use it!
