Mereka cuma dapat hamper? Kesian!

Even though this is a charity programme sponsored by Arabic Gold, perhaps the management forgot one very important thing — the participants who worked tirelessly throughout this competition are not kindergarten children taking part in their first acting competition. They are veteran actors with years of experience and a long-standing contribution to the entertainment industry.
They worked day and night, giving their time, energy and commitment to make this programme successful. Yet when it came to rewarding them, the prizes were so underwhelming that they looked more like kindergarten school prizes than a proper recognition of veteran artists.
Seriously, Arabic Gold? It’s 2026, not 1980.
With a well-established brand like Arabic Gold, surely it would not be impossible to offer a much more meaningful reward — perhaps RM100,000 or RM200,000 — to properly recognise the effort and sacrifices made by these artists.
This is not simply about the amount of money. It is about appreciation, recognition and respect for people who have spent years contributing to the industry.
If veteran actors can give their best to the programme, surely the sponsor can do a little better when it comes to giving something back to them.
Otherwise, one really has to wonder — is Arabic Gold sponsoring a charity programme, or organising a kindergarten prize-giving ceremony?
