OMG! Every video you produce imparts so much information! Thank you so very much!!!

Thank you so much!

So informative tutorial, thanks for sharing.👍

Love the good practical information!

This was very helpful for me. Less is more. If we can mix it with what we have on our pallet. Also showing us how to check if it’s toxic on blicks site

thank you for sharing this with us

Thanks for your clear content…

Good job on the video, and solid content! You just got your 255th subscriber. I'm looking forward to seeing what all you're going to bring in the future.
I really enjoyed seeing your own works in the intro. I like your style. Your brush work reminds me of John Singer Sergeant. The movement you captured in the birds feathers, the waves, and dresses was quite refreshing.

I prefer.french ultramarine for the graininess and added warmth

I recently tried cerulean blue and was disappointed with its tinting strength it does make some useful unique greens and violets though

I use Blurridge oil paint my favorite oil paint  close a no brainer for me

New subscriber, great content! Have you tried Indanthrone Blue (PB60)?

According to Gamblin, Ultramarine blue is actually a warm color. Because oils recede and come forward molecularly, it’s important to note those things.

So phthalo and ultramarine

Thank you! I would love to leave the toxic pigments out but drying time is a big factor for me. Using liquin could be worse for your health than those cadmiums... sure, you need to keep the heavy metals out of your body... I have a small and unfortunately cold room as my studio and as far as I know there is just no way to oil paint without the quicker pigments and beeing solvent free/voc free. Pb29 is staying open for 2 month in my environment...pv23 I can totally forget 😂 any suggestions apart from alkyds are very welcome ❤

Thanks for putting this video up. The past week I did a color study of the blues plus phthalo turquoise and cobalt teal... Im wanting to possibly get rid of ultramarine though I primarily use an earthy palette. As beautiful as ultramarine is, I am wanting something different. I paint portraits for the most part.  I have been using an extended Zorn palette plus Indian red, mars red light, raw umber, and terre vert. Any thoughts would be appreciated thank you.

Where's lapis lazuli ?
