Fun fact: after you defeat the clown, zombies do start spawning more in that particular area since the noise was driving them away

That grocery clerk wasn’t even aware of the zombies, he was just understaffed😂

So the Psychopaths (The Clown, Cop Lady, Sniper Family, Store Clerk, and Convicts) are one of the more iconic parts of the Dead Rising series. They're basically the boss fights of the game, though most of them are optional.

Most of them are so screwed up because of them either having issues before the zombies came and just see it as an excuse to exercise their screwed up fantasies like the cop lady, or they witnessed some pretty traumatic stuff because of the zombies that just sent them into a sudden prolonged state of mania like the clown. They've always been one of my absolute favorite things in the series though for sure.

"THIS IS MY STORE" has lived in my head rent free since I first played this in 2008

The psycho bosses are a stable of the Dead Rising Franchise. Some people you feel bad for, some people you don't. They all have just snapped.

Adam went crazy after seeing kids getting eaten by zombies before he was a psychopath he was a beloved clown in the Willamette mall but seeing his adoring fans get killed drove him to snap out of control.

Tho most people hate clowns ironically he's the series fan favorite boss

Not so fun fact: the clown tried to cheer children up that where trapped in the mal. All until the zombies came inside…
You can picture the rest. Or don’t it’s pretty sad.

Otis is the old janitor guy who welded the door when Frank first met Brad and Jessie.

Ed DeLuca is the helicopter guy.

4:22 The way he was laughing at this part, it’s almost as if he was shutting down like a machine or a robot

Adam MacIntyre is the most iconic Dead Rising Psychopath. Frank's theme in MVC3 is Adam's theme.

Love how the store owner had to get one more yell out before finally dying, lol.
Plus I literally said the same thing that Bethany said about the guy giving himself a heart attack at the same time she said it in the video 🤣🤣

It is amazing the sheer scope of different forms of unsettling/disturbing that Dead Rising's psychopaths embody. Under normal circumstances, games like this would have all the psychos be similar to the clown or more likely cannibals. Which is unsettling, but only at first.

Dead Rising's biggest strength is the unpredictability. Literally anyone and everyone can be a psycho, each for their own reasons and each with their own approaches. It really feels like no two psychopaths are the same because of this.

No matter who you are, at least one psycho will genuinely disturb you deep down, and that one disturbing psycho is going to vary from person to person. Such a great game for having such an approach to horror that aims to set it apart from other zombie scenarios.

adam terrified me as a kid, his death gave me nightmares all the reason to make him my favorite psychopath.

@ZeXiOn26 2 years ago

Fun Fact: Out of the three Hall-family members, Thomas is the worst shot and misses most of the time - while this might be due to him being the youngest and least experienced, I like to think it's because he doesn't really want to kill Frank.

@He_who_neverWas 3 years ago (edited)

Loved the horrified looks on your faces with the clown 😂
When I first played this as a kid it really made me dislike clowns more.

I DON'T ALLOW VANDALISM IN MY STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE

@Neo_suxxen 3 years ago

there aint no way frank can hold a .50cal like that lol. but as far as the psychos are concerned they are regular ppl that went crazy. it is one of those kill ppl before they kill you first thing, being in a zombie apocalypse. its deff not a resistance thing. The music in this game series is really metal and rock. love it.

@dunmwarupreachan4567 3 years ago

That's an M2 50 cal. He would not be able to fire that weapon unmounted.

@tetov1620 3 years ago

Fun fact: Adam the clown is one of the hardest bosses in the game, especially when you are low level, and his mini chainsaw has one of the highest dps in the game.
