I was completely blown away by the fact that the right pedal in the cockpit was slightly depressed and the rudder was deflected at the same angle and in the right direction! Amazing attention to detail.

Well, this kit I will presumably build in June or July of this year.
I am a Bf 109 and FW 190 enthusiast and I build almost everything in 1/72. I started the hobby 57 years ago if I remember correctly. I gave it up two times, first when turning to 18 and becoming a pacifist. After returning to modelling around 1995 the children came and the hobby was given up again. So I started for a third time roundabout 10 years ago. Meanwhile I try to restrict myself to the African and mediterranean theatre and aircrafts of the Axis powers, that is I do mostly German and Italian and from time to time Japanese aircrafts. So almost all of my more recent builds wear the famous white band on the fuselage.
Therefore your video was of special interest to me. Well, I can only repeat what the comment section already said, what a truly wonderful, inspiring and challenging video you made. I have to admit, though, I cant compete with that fascinating love for detail and the competence to bring this love to life. My deepest respect.

Fantastic work in 1/72.
Have you tried VMS varnishes. I like them but as I'm colour blind my colour vision isn't good enough to say if they affect the base paint though. Lots of other modellers praise them.

I've seen a number of comments from pilot accounts. The thing that stuck in my mind is that the F was more enjoyable to fly owing to the better wing loading and better balance.

Regardless of what you say about the Messerschmitt 109...My Late Father almost became a Luftwaffe pilot...But was young at the time and the WAR was slowly coming to an End...

VMS varnishes. Best in the world.

And don't forget that the FOCKE WULF FW 190 was as GOOD as the Me /Bf 109's...
