Being an American, this isn’t anything new to me. I’ve been listening to them since 1996 (when I had just turned 13). It was a cultural, spiritual, and personal matter to me. Almost 30 years later, and Oasis still means the world to me. I should also mention that I almost missed out on seeing them play at the Rose Bowl, in my hometown of Pasadena, CA. But, I was able to get one of the last few tickets that production made available. It was the absolutely best day of my life. I’ll always be mad for it. Oasis, forever! 🇺🇸🇬🇧🎸
J . Bon Jovi still and always had the two things that are in short supply these days ...... Heart and Class . Let Love live forever . :thanksdoc::thanksdoc::thanksdoc::thanksdoc::thanksdoc::thanksdoc::thanksdoc::thanksdoc::thanksdoc::thanksdoc::thanksdoc::thanksdoc:
Quite simply they were the second coming…….we have waited years for this and never ever thought it would ever happen…..everybody likes a comeback story……
We have always been out there. People who want a rock band and not a perky popstar with dancers. That has never changed. While the mainstream has been bigging up Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande and so on. We have all been filling stadiums for AC DC, Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, Muse and so on. That desire for just a live band playing live has never stopped. It never will.
Was there in Sydney on Night one, ten metres from the stage and the lads killed it and the whole stadium just lapped it up. Current day music just doesn’t compare to the heady days of last century Rock N Roll.
For me, this had been the biggest and most convincing Reunion of a Band ever. And even more, Oasis 2024 had been better as a Band, than before. So I say, that Oasis is now in their 'hightime' .
