I wish someone would come up with a new term to replace run and gun. 😊

the new firmware just solved the auto iso problem in log mode

Thanks for the tips! I didn't know about 800 being the base ISO for I-Log. I did my first shots with the Luna today and I was disappointed when I saw how noisy 400 iso is at 60FPS in 4k. It was borderline unusable. I'll test again at 800 iso. My jaw dropped, though, when I tried pure video in a low lit scene even at 60FPS! Pffff, just epically clean and balanced look!

I did notice some miniscule flickering around high contrast areas when I was panning with the camera in pure video mode. It looks like the camera is making double the exposures in relation to the frame rate and blending them, so when you're moving the camera, there will be a small difference between the frames that are blended together.

I also like your lut. Thanks for offering one!

Hi bro! Thanks for the video!, i got my insta 3 days ago, but when i record in 4k at 30 after 52minutes there is warning for overheating …do you have the same problem?

@ronnyboi9813 1 month ago

Excellent video! I'm a new video shooter with this camera and honestly I'm having a lot of issues with ilog at 800 iso. Always a lot of noise in the shadows. Am I just not overexposing enough?

@richardpalmer4594 2 months ago

I am confused. You say the native iso in i log is 800, some say 400, but either way I shoot in i log only and have my iso set to 100. Are you saying the camera changes that setting to 800, or are you saying the best setting for iso in i log is 800. I've shot video footage for many years and always use iso 100 in the sun.

Nice shoot 😅

@alvaroherreraarellano9091 2 months ago

Hi! I was reading on Reddit recently, and someone who works at Insta mentioned that the base ISO is 400. I think it would be great to have another video covering the camera's latest updates. Cheers!

@sinwo85 2 months ago

what is “base ISO” and why ISO800? Didnt get that… 😅 mean i know what ISO is ofcourse…

@antikseyyah 2 months ago

Thanks for the Info 🙏
Is 100 ISO is also the best option for standard mode? (not ilog)

@ekphotography 2 months ago

Thanks, you video looks quite nice. But why is every other YouTuber saying the 400 ISO is the base ISO and Best and other say the 800 ISO is the base and best for iLOG? What the heck.... LOL

Nobody is talking about Insta360's mics. Is that wireless mic big and heavy like the older DJI Mic 2? It looks like it's pulling on your shirt.

seeing the footages here, it just came across my mind and i feel like there are two large groups of people when it comes to op4p vs Luna Ultra. one sayng DJI has more natural look. the one one saying Insta360 is more true to life. i feel like it all comes down to how we see the foliage and to me, Luna Ultra has the warm undertone that DJI is lacking esp. on foliage. that said, the skin tone on Luna Ultra can be a little bit too reddish sometimes.
