Bro is fighting Fatalis like it´s a thursday

Want to drop a thank you, I finally beat Fatalis thanks to your video. Been fighting him for 3 days straight. I kept rushing for red gauge and got punished repeatedly. Watching your video makes me realize that staying alive is more important than rushing as much dmg as possible. My solo ended in 27 minutes. I got off 5 maybe 6 helm breakers the whole fight lol, but I was continuously poking him nonstop and only carted once. Thanks for the advices!

Honestly one of the best guides for this fight I've ever seen
I wish more "hard games" creators would talk more about how you don't need to play like a speedrunner to be good

oh this is so timely. been lurking for a couple weeks now. last night did my first solo alatreon kill with long sword, now attempting fatalis. sliiiiiiiick

A year later and someone (me) still found this guide useful. I'll reply to this comment once I beat Fatty myself.

This vid is so chill, it got me a solo Fatalis kill lol

Here are some extra tips for LS users and some for general play...
- If you want to have heavy artillery without sacrificing deco slots just upgrade your temporal mantle and put the one level decos in it, yes you have to grind till lvl 150 but Fetalist isn't meant to be fought before lvl 100 and it's really a fast grind from there to 150...
and try saving the mantle for phase 2 or you can use tool specialist secret when you farm fetalis armor then you can use the mantle in phase 1 and have it ready by the start of phase 2 for the ballista..
-The best mantle build is temporal and upgraded evasion, slot destroyer decos into evasion mantle and HA into temporal...
but if you cant use evasion you can use glider or fire proof I wouldn't recommend using Rocksteady tho...
Getting the kill with LS is not that big of a challenge compared to getting the double horn break which is really tough and it needs you to expose other openings to hit the head more than the cone attack and the binders...
There are some videos on Youtube teaching how to helmbreak the head consistently just look them up...
- Always use max potions and try to never use mega pots... you can have up to seven by carrying on the mega nutrients and mandragora, you can also carry extra ancient potions by using Kibi horns and immunizers, to farm kilbi horns just make a lvl 1 iron hammer and smack them on the head with it, you can find them on the waste or the coral highlands, they will drop it after one or two hits..
- If Fatalis is on all four make it a habit to go into special sheath every now and then, if it attacks you with a bite when you are in special sheath you can counter with Iai spirit slash which does loads of head damage and part break damage.. this one is really risky and will cost you lots and lots of carts at the beginning but when you pull it off and get the hang of it, it's really worth it + getting the head break with the counter and then instantly helmbreaking it is one of the best experiences a ls main can have in this game..
- Some might hate them but smoke bombs are made for this fight, use them at the start of phase 2 on the ballista to make Fatalis land, use them whenever it flies, use them to get an easy tenderization, and I cant explain it fully but there is a way to use them to  get an opening to helm break the head, there's a guide about it in the videos I mentioned above...
- If you didn't get the artillery ko even after using the rolling ballista with HA decos then that means Fatalis is one or two artillery hits away from the ko, just pick up some normal ballista arrows and shoot it using on of the two normal ballista on the arena (you can also wait for the rolling ballista to be useful again at phase 3).

BRO COMMENTATED THE WHOLTE THING WHILE JUST ABSOLUTELY DESTROYING FATALIS

10/10

Amazing video Uno, I really like how you play so carefully.
200% the oppesite of how I play. I need that 1 extra hit or finish that spirit lvl up or IA counter no matter what, if I die I die XD
Fortify 100% intended;)

Uno just wanna say your guides got me through Iceborne’s endgame in a breeze! I’ve been stressed out because I cannot solo Alatreon for about a whole 2 weeks, and through your guides (not necessarily the builds coz I’m a swaxe main) I realized that Alatreon and Fatalis are not just monsters that you can go head on full damage. I’ve learned to be patient, take my time, and earn my hits. Without me knowing, I already solo’d Alatreon and Fatalis (5 tries) in the same week! Thank you for your words of encouragement sir 🫡

Just defeated fatalis because of this guide your passive playstyle really helped me changed mine top 1 guide in history for real

Just soloed fatty for the first time. This guide made all the difference in keeping me calm throughout it, thank you!! 20 hours later—he is dead—I can have my screenshot—and now I can move on happy!

I just wanna say that this guide was a huge help. I was completely desperate because I was not doing enough dps but this video helped me take a careful approach that I usually prefer. I beat fatty yesterday
