A little tip for you DC, next time, carry the wall cornice around the top of the units. It ends up looking much neater.
Also, don't put the skirting in too high,  you won't need to cut the doors. 😋

Only used the timber is had the only one in an end panel  could od been 3x2 just used what I had to hand

if ya used 3x2 cls  would that end panel not of been big enough

The skirting  is lower its the part thats screwed to the bottom of the unit that was tight.
I had a similar  problem  on the previous  job the same as this

Nice ...but I'd have to question the actual value of implying two good guys for two days (4 man days) for IKEA. I must say I'd be more inclined to just make it bespoke from scratch without all the plastic bits....NOT a criticism of you guys just an observation.....
