Jack, i promise there are like 3 animated tv shows and 4 animated movies for Green Lantern that you can look at before you watch the Ryan Reynolds Green Lantern movie 💀💀

Jack is really that one classmate who reminds the teacher about homework

He looks just like john Stewart from the old justice league cartoon perfect casting

Too much tension?! I don't know how these dudes made it past Andor 😅

hope you guys check out Superman as well, this show will probably have some link to it

I really hope they continue this show, it's grounded but there is a lot of worldbuilding and visual storytelling going on.

Baiting the alien with Obama in 2016 is genius writing lol

Man I'm just so happy seeing DCU doing so great and that lantern is talk of the town basically, cause finally we're getting a good reputation for DC ,as a DC fan growing up it made me sad to see it doesn't have the popularity or hype like MCU cause the material is right there ,u just need to make a good movie/show out of it.

Never thought I’d see the day when I’m glazing Green Lantern. This made me read some comics and GL is awesome.

22:19 Like brodie didn't just watch Hal make counterfeit money 2 seconds earlier...I swear

You can't keep getting away with this !! where's my walking dead episodes!!

Hell Yeah! The brightest day it is!

Yeah, the tension in this show is thick enough to need a saw. The moment the first ep ended it finally felt like I could breathe again

I think Mckay is onto something. If he calls everyone an alien, eventually he’ll be right

It's meant to be a bit of a contrast. The first bit of the episode is Hal being interviewed as an incredible superhero and now nobody seems to actually respect him but they think he's kind of cool so that tells you he's been doing the job for a while and in his own special Hal way.

Definitely have to watch Superman as soon as possible, before you catch up obviously.

I clicked the Like button so fast, you have no idea how much i was hoping you guys would react to this show. I hope this is just the start of your DCU (and DC in general) journey, and you watch the other shows others have suggested like Peacemaker (surprise hit follow up to The Suicide Squad movie, has vulgar language but is warm hearted, funny, you really grow to love the characters, and it shows John Cena's real acting range), and The Penguin (which is Elseworlds but still part of DCU, it's a tie in between The Batman movie and the upcoming part 2, but is self contained and extremely well written crime drama story. The show and actors have won Emmys for costuming/prosthetics, sound design, Cristin Milioti won for female lead actress , Colin Farrell won a Golden Globe) and the Superman movie (good story, decent action, the actors are basically the characters straight out from the comic books, wholesome, makes you believe in superheroes again, gives you hope. It was intended to rebuild the trust in DC after what happened previously, which it did for many, and set the tone for DCU).

Lanterns will actually have some ties to the upcoming Man Of Tomorrow too (Superman team up movie), coming out in 2027.

Wow. didn't knew you guys watched Lanterns. Great vid.

Jack's desire to spoil literally anything he can is hilariously infuriating. Fucking let the show cook man

Yall have no idea how crazy green lantern lore can be especially hal jordans, yall should check out the animated show sometime in the future! Also loved the fact you guys gave this show a watch and really liked it
