Fred’s youngest brother said the abuse allegations against their parents were untrue and that pig slaughter was never conducted by them. He said he could remember the specialist coming to visit to slaughter the pigs.

It was horrific then and is still horrific now...Very well made despite the subject,  thankyou 👏👏

What a sad and depressing watch, the pair of them were doomed before they even existed.

Those two monsters got off too easily. How can anyone be so evil.

Very informative and interesting. Thank you 😊

I  watched "appropriate adult" and besides any documentary I've seen, it was if anything so real, and so very well done.

Do another one like this one, this is a very good program on these two . I want to see more on these doc's asap ok 😮

In a previous interview Ann Marie said she was 10 when they forced her to sleep with black men.
In another interview she says she was 13.
In her book Out of The Shadows she says she had her wedding reception in the basement at Cromwell Street and theres even photos in her book with them and her in laws in the very basement those monsters tied her up and used objects to rpe her!
She wrote under the photos 'me and dad having a celebratory sherry'.  wtf!
and she had those evil monsters over to her house to celebrate her own daughters birthdays.
That truly baffles me after everything she went through.  She ran away to finally escape them at 15 but still had them over to her house! wtf!!

The music is eerie

Thank you for this documentary. Well researched and well done. Just a tip, Fred's mother didn't "introduce him to sex", Fred's mother raped him. And was a pedophile. Please use the same language you would use for a male rapist snd a female victim as you woild for a male victim snd a female sex offender. Great documentary. Thank you again.

Could you cover more school shootings? Very intriguing topic

Damaged from the get-go.

Fred's brother said their parents didn't sexually abuse them as kids

These are monsters. How sad, little Heather 😢 murdered by her father.  And those other young girls, sexually abused, murdered, dismembered, and buried on the property 😔 😟 🙁 😥 😈

I don't think anyone could understand the depravity of these two monsters..this was a national trauma.
The mother raped Fred, starting when he was 8 years old. Rose...her father a rapist monster...Fred pimped Rose out, 3 children fathered by black men 😞and she participated in being sold for sex.
Poor Anne-Marie..prostituted by her own mother...at 13 😞Violent SA by Fred, a "father's job"...
This is HORRIFIC, you are giving us details that I didn't know about - them removing BONES?????WTF????
Heather, Fred and Rose's first child. threatened to go to the police, Fred...dismembered her. The children start talking...Thank you for this excellent documentary on these monsters..

I was living and working in the Royal Hotel in Weymouth back in  the 70's the West's had a job there.  I remember going around to there rented home. Rose West would not allow my boyfriend or I to leave the property. In the end I lied and said that my boss would come around and pick us up. Then we were let out. Never saw that couple again untill they were caught.  I believe they killed Jeanette Tate, don't forget this was back in the 70"s.. Actually the experience was very frightening.  But once out being so young we just said that it was a weird experience and different think anymore about it, not until the news.

Here is my problem with all of these analyses of Fred West's "abusive childhood". We have no corroborative testimony from another living soul that his upbringing was anything other than normal. His siblings say nothing happened. Neighbors of the West family when he was growing up say they saw nothing to indicate the sort of abuse he claimed. In fact, everyone says about Fred's childhood the same thing: Yes, he could be charming, but the only violence that ever occurred came from him, especially after the accident on his motorbike left him possibly brain damaged. As well, most say Fred West demonstrated a serious maladaptive personality disorder regarding sexuality from a very early age.

I dont think is possible that they alone .that brothe rwas very much left out despite being verymuch involved .some other ppl jad to help .dig around house and city ,abusing people ,kiling them and noone ever put them in prison or put them under surveillance or their kids

What is this supposed documentary ... some random people who never even met Fred or Rose speaking like they met and knew them, and the documentary featuring footage of people recreating them when they were younger looking nothing like them and recreating scenes how any young pepple would be behaving. This is just poor documentary making.

Actually, of Fred and Rose’s biological children, Heather was the eldest, followed by Mae, and then Stephen - Stephen wasn’t born between the sisters - he was the youngest of the three!
