In the Himalayas, survival begins where the air grows thin.

Across the highest mountains on Earth, freezing temperatures, steep terrain and scarce food make every day a test of adaptation.

From snow leopards learning to hunt among the cliffs and bharal escaping across impossible slopes to pikas preparing for winter, golden eagles taking to the air, Himalayan wolves hunting as a pack, and bearded vultures surviving on what others leave behind, life here has evolved around the limits of the mountains.

This wildlife documentary follows the animals of the Himalayas through the challenges that define their lives — finding food, avoiding predators, raising young, surviving winter, and moving through one of the most extreme environments on Earth.
