Even nostalgia is not as good as it used to be back in the day it seems. I'm sure I'm old enough to have had a Boddies on cask in some form but also old enough to not be able to fully remember it as it was so long ago. Spot on return video Slurrrrrpy. Cheers #Disco
Great video pal. There’s been a few places that have tried to replicate boddies but nobody can seem to do it. The lads who brew it these days are probably young and have no idea what its original taste, smell etc was really like. Another great video pal 🍺
It's good to have a nice reliable pub with a good range of casks. Unfortunately a dying breed on the mainland. It's a shame that the Boddington's ale wasn't the same as the original. I don't know why they thought they had to change it, maybe ego! Anyway, nice to see you back and another enjoyable video. Cheers Dave 👍🏻🍻🙂
Richard’s version of it was absolutely lovely. We drank it together ( I think you watched it ) and it was lovely. Had a nuttyness about it too . Think it was an original 70’s recipe and he names it after the yeast he uses . Good to see you out and about Dave . Cheers 🍻
