Years ago the owner/manager where I worked loved putting long rambling notes by the time clock. He was religious when it suited him and tried to control employees lives OUTSIDE of work too. For instance if he saw employee cars at a bar after work he said he would fire us. Yeah. Right. So he thought some of us were parking too close to our workplace and taking up places 'where customers could park' but if we didn't park in those spaces the business next to us did so who cares where we parked? Well, this idiotic control freak. He put a hand written note up about the 'parking situation'  and it was 2 pieces of notebook paper long, taped together. I stared at it for a minute and took it down. A co-worker said 'Oh you're going to get in trouble!' I put the note on the service manager's desk, grabbed his pen and started writing. He stared at me mouth agape. 'What are you doing?!' I told him and the others gathered around me I was circling every spelling error and putting the correction to the side of it. Everyone was terrified. 'You can't do that!' 'You're going to get fired!' 'He's going to know it's you!' I told him I was counting on it. The boss and I clashed on a lot of things because he was so illogical and controlling. Well he came back from lunch. My service manager said his face got more and more red as he realized what had been done to his precious edict. He took the note down went in his office, slammed the door shut. He came over by my desk several times, said nothing, stormed off. He knew if he confronted me he would still look like an idiot because he couldn't spell worth a s**t. He was crabby and snapped at everyone the rest of the day. I worked there for another year before I quit....but he never put up another note by the time clock!😂😂😂
