Recently in the UFC there have been multiple contenders that haven't been given the deserved title shot, so I thought i'd go through the 5 most deserving contenders in every UFC weight class. Some weight classes have a wide variety of potential deserving contenders, wheras other have barely any.

If Volkanovski is the most deserving contender in the Featherweight division after being knocked out unconscious by the current Champ, we might aswell understand why Ilia wants to leave the Featherweight division

How are you gonna talk about Khamzat as the greatest contender in ufc history and not mention Aspinall who has literally cleared the division as interim chanp while finishing everyone in the first round

ankalaev isn’t a grappler, he has 0 submissions, barely any takedowns and he’s literally been submitted himself, you are such a casual

i think evloev deserves it more then lopes considering he beat lopes and just beat a former champ.

You cant call someone an undisputed champion if there is an interim champion. By definition their championship is disputed.

I dont really get how washed kamaru usman is ahead of garry, who yes lost to shavkat but has a bright future in the contender race

KFF is 3rd at best and you can argue 5th if we count Figgy and Cejudo (yes the title picture is that bad right now)

It'll probably be Volk vs. Evloev/Lopes for the title, Illa is moving up to LW

Edwards deserve the title shot more than usman, usman is like half retired, how is he even in the list
