Wow what a humble interviewer! Simple questions, with reflecting answers! Very interesting interview.

Love the interviewers patients she allows Wayne to observe the space in-between his words and thoughts and directions that all up us whether we want to or not have to ask and or experience the question of our individual journey that we'll all have to face as we return back to the eternal being

Great interviewer and interview. It is not easy to do this job with someone like Wayne because he can go all over the place and Miriam had to manage the time constrain of a live session.

Cut him off when he was about to elaborate on the multiverse talks... gov't censorship
Nevermind, she lets him get into it at the end. Whew!

she wanted Wayne to talk about being black musicians. Looking mixed herself others can read about racism in USA but until they come here never really comprehend it. also swing to bebop occurred in the 40s but didn't replace but added on. as far as modal that is older than harmonic music in Europe. Miles resurrected the technique in So What. Modal means one note pushing towards another hence scalar. harmonic is when chords contained in a scale progress to a chord if rest.she's read his autobiography but never researched the times.

Wayne Shorter is inarticulate. They chose a poor interviewer too interview a man that cannot talk.

Wayne never was a very good communicator. He really wanted to talk more about Buddhism and the Cosmos
instead of the past and Jazz. If you asked him about his take on infinity you got yourself a friend for life!
R.I.P. Wayne Shorter. NAM-MYOHO-RENGE-KYO
