the young girl who got hit by the bike....well done you for facing them head on

Doubt they expected to grab a guy wanted for Manslaughter, Sgt Hughes had the best reaction to that 😂

Alex makes me laugh cz he looks like a friendly softy but he's really not! He's great at his job 😂❤

That's gotta be the most polite warning to having your door bashed down 😂

A large scale manhunt that lasts over a month for multiple offences and all he got was a £500 and a suspended sentence?
That whole operation would have cost tens of thousands of pounds!
The so called “justice system” is a joke.

Rehabilitation in prisons is clearly not working!

I know this episode all too well and that is one of my favourites of all time!

Instead of bluring the faces of the offenders, they should superimpose a potato - which may actually be more flattering, especially from an IQ perspective.

Nothing but respect! Excellent policing. Nice job!

Is it because the prisons are full that criminals get away with fines ?

Tell you what,… that nerdy looking cop Alex prove that looks can be deceiving!,… he has balls of Steele!

Police do their jobs well and must think why waste their time when the courts are far to soft on the culprits, Courts need to toughen up..

I've been out of the police since 2005 and single crewing was a problem then. As for the actions of the CPS... words fail me...

Traffic Cops Series 7, Episode 7 first aired on Channel 5 on 14 October 2009.

So just echoing something a lot of people are probably thinking! - all the money that goes into our justice system in this country and the time it took  the police (who wouldn't be able to pass a basic fitness test) 4 weeks on the run, and he was not sent to jail; instead, he was given a fine of nearly 500 quid...  (Assault and criminal damage). 24 weeks for assault, vehicle theft, threats to life, criminal damage. The other two blokes that nicked the cars were allowed home with no charge also; no action was taken for the threats of criminal damage whilst the men were on the run from the police. Then, ran young girls over, kicked and punched repeatedly in the face, and while they were on the ground... they received a curfew... so basically grounded. THEN the police officer who looks like he should be working in a library said it's "unbelievable" as to why the young boy that got beaten to a pulp retracted his statement after you let the people that do it go home, most probably on the same street as the poor boy. This is why no one trusts the police now; the system works for the offenders!

"He's swallowed a lot of drugs" Tough

I like the old way the cops fill you in and then arrest you for assault and evading arrest

Cheaper getting a drone up .

Hardened bully's not criminals they haven't got any brains

@8:28 didn't think to check the red door she came out from...
