Step into a world of wit, crime, and dark humour with The Amazing Dr. Clitterhouse by Barré Lyndon — a brilliant black comedy thriller that explores the mind of a criminal… from the inside.

Dr. Clitterhouse is no ordinary Harley Street physician. Fascinated by the psychology of crime, he embarks on a bizarre scientific experiment — committing burglaries himself to study his own physical and emotional responses. But as his research deepens, the line between doctor and criminal begins to blur in this clever and unsettling tale.

Originally written as a stage play in 1936 and first performed at Theatre Royal Haymarket, the production was a major success, running for nearly 500 performances and later inspiring film and radio adaptations.
