NFS Millionaire sounds like Test Drive Unlimited meets Midnight Club LOL

need for speed most wanted 2 was looking insanely good for a beta. i've played it myself and the engine sounds for a prototype were insane. not just the engine sounds, but the graphics and "prologue" with the main character talking about how he was hiding for 7 years. another thing worth mentioning is that if you look at the concept art of nfsmw2 you can see an orange mclaren with the text "you have 23 kills with this vehicle". you can tell criterion were going all out with this whole darker tone thing lol. im 99% sure that this game was originally supposed to be something like nfsmw and nfsc put together because in one of the files theres a voice line suggesting towards a territory takeover game mode. personally I think that if the game was finished it would get more sales than the actual nfsmw because of how many different genres it fitted, including the car weapons they were planning on implementing. im glad that more people are talking about the nfs2012 betas because I find them really interesting.. it'd be nice if you looked into the protypes of the game and made a video about them

Most Wanted 2 still haunts me to this day.

what in the ai slop

I can tell chat GPT made the script for this video 💀

It’s kinda crazy thinking about some of the really ambitious concepts that were completely shelved by EA. The reason why we got games like Underground and Most Wanted in the first place was because of devs who weren’t afraid to rock the boat and try new things with the franchise and I wish we still had that level of ambition with right now. At this point I don’t care what direction the series goes in as long as it results in a good game. Could be open world, closed track, street racing or motorsports. Don’t care as long as it’s a good racing game.

So basically Devs kept trying to turn need for speed onto GTA Road Rash Twisted Metal Death Race with expensive cars and rpg elements but EA thought we weren't ready for that

this video remind me how much i hate EA for cancel every gold bullet from criterion and NFS

I really miss the crazy ideas from NFS, them holding back the creativity was a huge mistake. It looks like the only people who really understood NFS was Black Box and Black Box ruled NFS for over a decade and it's crazy how only 1 bad game justified a their shutdown and it's not like black box only made NFS games but Black Box made NFS who they are today and EA couldn't even give them a chance to redeem themselves with either a brand new IP or a long awaited sequel. That was EA's career defining mistake because now they don't even make nfs games anymore, great video man :)

Really surprised EA didn’t take the Call Of Duty route with Need For Speed. It would’ve made a ton of sense to have Black Box make narrative games, Slightly Mad make Shift, Ghost make the open world games and Criterion make Burnout. A four-year rotation for developers would work really well and you can still get a NFS game every year. Between that and an actual NFS World, Need For Speed could’ve been eating real good right now.

By the way how nfs terrofive sounds could had been dope...people already think street racers are terrorists 💀

Burnout: The Need for Speed would've honestly worked as a title for an NFS-themed Burnout game

In case you guys doesn't realized it, this is an ai channel with ai voice and ai script, fact check is needed

Australian version of beetle adventure Racing, is not with beetles or volkswagens, its HSV adventure racing, with high performance holden cars.... But basically is the same game with re-skin cars, many say it's a worse and more difficult version, i don't know, but i still got my beetle adventure cartridge, and i can say, this one wasn't easy

So many of these games were ruined by corporate investors. Good creativity either stifled by 'the bigger picture' or half arsed support and ADHD style management.

It's frustrating

Bro: i swear I don't use chat gpt to write my videos

Also bro:

12:35 Seeing NFS EDGE here is truly surprising. It might be a very unfamiliar game to foreigners, but for korean gamers of that era, it’s a title everyone knows. It was one of the many games born from a unique time when ea and nexon collaborated.
There were several attempts to release ea franchises with an “online” subtitle through nexon's development, but only two ever saw the light of day: one was fifa online, and the other was nfs edge. Other titles, like titanfall online, were revealed to the public during development, but they never made it to release.
While fifa online achieved huge success and continues to thrive to this day, nfd edge struggled from the start due to a lack of content, leaving many players disappointed. The developers showed enthusiasm and communicated frequently with the player base, but neither ea nor nexon invested in further development. As a result, the game remained like a demo version with thin content until its end.
Still, it was quite popular during its service period, and there are still many who remember it fondly. Korean games failed to pioneer the console market during the PS2 era, and console gaming never really took hold in korea. Instead, the focus shifted entirely to shitty mmorpg online games. So even a title like nfs edge felt like a rare gift.
Even now, if you search “need for speed” in korean on youtube, the second most popular suggestion is need for speed edge. As korean game developers begin another journey to break into the console market, I hope we get to see a korean-made racing game again someday.

NFS Terrorfive, I think in my memory this game is themed around Street racing and criminal with takedowns same as Burnout

...this sounds...not human at all
