Movies always have to leave out so much.  Sometimes I am disappointed at what gets left out.  The gypsy.  The tree being struck by lightning.  The veil being torn by the intruder.  Inheriting the fortune and discovering she has relatives.  Getting some of his sight back.

Although I've liked watching all Jane Eyre adaptations, I think it's weird that Jane Eyre is played by so many ill-chosen actresses.
In the book, Jane Eyre is 18 years old when she leaves Lowood to become Adèle's governess. She is described as plain, pale, and small, often appearing as childlike or elfin, certainly not wearing makeup or false eyelashes.
As to Mr Rochester, he is in his late 30s when he and Jane first meet, and is described as dark-haired with dark eyebrows and dark eyes, of average height, and of an athletic, broad-chested build.
It's a shame that they somehow haven't got the means to be true to the characters in the book.
I wonder what difficulties and obstacles the makers face in choosing suitable actresses and actors for these roles.

Great line:   You cannot love God alone. George C. Scot is so good in this film.  Loved it.

I love miss Jane Eyer ❤❤❤

Thank you very much for sharing.❤

Fassbender and Wasikowski are my favourite, i think 2011 version. But i like all of them

Thank you. Very touching and happy ending.

This is a great adaptation.. love George C. and Suzannah York, although my favorite is the BBC series, with Timothy Dalton. The earlier film is good, too, with Orson Wells as a wonderful, tortured Rochester, and the amazing Margaret O'Brien as Adele. Elizabeth Taylor was Helen, and she is not mentioned in the titles!

Thank you so much~🎉🎉🎉~
