Today's task is replacing the stock horn with a Century horn.
Previously, on my 6th generation model, I replaced it with a Lexus horn, but this time I was interested in the Century horn, so I decided against the Lexus horn.
Last time, I mounted one horn facing backward and even painted the metal part black, but this time I used a U-shaped bracket to shift the horn's mounting position backward and mount it facing forward.
*Note: The bolt mounting holes on the U-shaped bracket used for mounting need to be slightly enlarged, so please enlarge the holes yourself using a drill or similar tool.
The difficulty level of this work is [★★★☆☆], which I would rate as average.
Last time, it was a diesel model and the AdBlue tank was in the way, so I had to remove the bumper to replace it, but this time it's a gasoline model, so I can replace it from above by removing the headlights and grille, which reduces the effort and makes the replacement a little easier. That being said, working from above is still difficult if you don't have the right tools.
