Favourite Boatworks is a Vancouver based wooden boat repair and restoration business that offers professional shipwright, corking, and rigging services in the lower mainland. The business is based in Vancouver on the Fraser River and is servicing British Columbia and the Pacific Northwest wooden boat fleet.
We wish to acknowledge that Favourite Boatworks is located on the traditional and unceded territories of the Indigenous Peoples of British Columbia. We pay our respects to the First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples of this area, acknowledging their enduring connection to this land, and we would like to express our gratitude and respect for their historical and ongoing stewardship of these lands.

We’d like to start of and say that we’re really grateful for all the support and love we’ve gotten for this project in such a short time.
Unfortunately we’ve reached a point where we are forced to scale down the media side of things at Favourite Boatworks. We had high hopes to get this channel off the ground and self sustaining in a short period of time but we’ve been unsuccessful in reaching the amount of viewers and supporters needed for this to be financially possible.
What does that mean for Saving North Star?
We will still finish the North Star series, though in a limited fashion, you can expect an handful more episodes to be released over the lifetime of the project.
What does it mean for other projects/boat tours etc?
These have been put on hold for the foreseeable future with the hope that we can revisit these budget allowing.
If you want to support us and help keep this channel afloat please consider commenting, liking and sharing the videos to friends, on Facebook or wherever applicable, we can’t overstate how much this helps. You can also support us on Patreon by becoming a monthly member and receiving behind the scenes material and early releases, you can also buy one of our stylish caps on the web shop!
Cheers,
The Favourite Crew
