I don’t think people understand how magical this era was. OMG!!!!😮 We had record stores, we had to go there and buy the album or the CD. CDs were very popular during this time as they were the new advent of technology and it was exciting but I regret not also buying the album. I just bought the CD which was more expensive than the vinyl record.😒Anyhoo Janet never ceased to amaze us with each new album. The “Janet” album just coming off the heels of Rhythm Nation was a stark contrast. It was very exciting. I musta played this album a thousand times the day it was released. I locked myself in my bedroom and played each song and pretended to be Janet for hours😜
Great Interview. I remembered I bought the Janet album on the Audio Cassette. At this time also Design of A Decade came out and yes rushing to the store to get the Audio Cassette. I didn't buy any Records because I didn't have the Record Player. ❤❤❤. Fantastic memories ❤❤💃🏽💃🏽
Great. She was at her peak during the janet era. Why was the interview stopped so abruptly ? That lady just marched in and ended it, just like that. So weird. I love how discreet she was about Renée. I believe they were already married at the time of the interview. Oh well, thanks for sharing. Her hair and makeup were flawless. Janet never had a bad hairdo. I wonder what her secret is. Her hair always looks natural.
