From my western perspective, one thing I like about this is the imperative to find the true, noble path, the path that gives pleasure looking back from the future life. (and that which helps attain Nirvana, which I can't comment on). One thing I find difficult to accept is that if people aren't on this path they are blind or immoral. I feel that people are complex with genuine traits and less desirable traits. For example some of those traits are primal desires. I don't think everyone can overcome them. But the text definitely helps me to reflect on living a true and sincere life and I took down notes.
Beautifully narrated. Cross your legs, straighten your back, close your eyes and visualise The Buddha sat before you. That's just what I did and it truly felt like the Buddha himself was speaking the words.🙏🌹 Sadhu🌹Sadhu🌹Sadhu🙏
