Crawler Canyon

This is the Quickview of the Yikong 41011 "rock crawler," which is more of a curiosity than it is a rock crawler, but hey-- a hundred and fifty bucks. How bad could it be?

I bought this truck as a project to try things on .... After some changes it's actually a fun lil truck and can be capable. Love your videos dude.

That's the second vid I've seen of the 41011 that had the hex fuse like that. Lol

Excellent unboxing. I can't wait to see what you do with it for the build off.

I wholeheartedly welcome the manual lockers. I get independent lockers and didn't have to pay for 2 servos. If you don't like it, set it and forget it. Better than no option to unlock and lock at all. Also I have forded mine through deeper water than intended a couple times and rinsed off mud and have not had any issues with electronics. This video feels a bit nitpicky but the issues brought up in this video should not put off any beginners. It is so much fun even for the full price and has so much potential for upgrades. I can understand the major doubt if this was the FMS canyon or YK4107, those have all the same pitfalls plus you are paying a bunch for extra junk you don't need. Most of these issues will not be noticeable or can easily be fixed by a beginner for free or cheap. The metal hexes for this are $7 and it costs nothing to trim the bumper and fenders. I can't wait to see what you do with this and hopefully I can use some of that info for my own!
