A combined recap of my retrospectives on Sonic 1, CD, 2 and 3 & Knuckles! Thought I'd end this year off with the videos which started my deep dive into full analyses of the Sonic the Hedgehog video games. My thanks to everyone for supporting me!

I love sonic and always will. I'm 43 and I remember Christmas 1992 when I got my Sega Genesis. Thank you RobotnikHolmes

My first console I ever got that was mine alone was the Genesis. Sonic 1-S&K were my life. Your videos have unlocked the good times of my life.

This was a labor of love. I was born in 1988 so I could relate to your experience to classic Sonic. The first three Sonic games shaped much of my childhood. I would draw out my own levels on paper and play the games also (Ironically... I never beat any of them (until I became an adult), but that didn't stop me from trying as a kid lol) From the music and memorization, the creators of that game gave us kids something to stew over for decades and the games still stand up to this day. Keep making you content. More than race, creed, or nationality, Sonic united a generation 💪

These games will never get old!

Part of childhood, part of mental health. Used to play the Genesis ones every night at work. I am surprized it did not affect me in more unique ways.

Bet they’d say “it is only a video game” regarding the horrid changes Sega of America made to Bare Knuckle III/ Streets of Rage 3.

I've watched the individual videos a few times, and the fact that i rewatched them in this compilation shows just how good these retrospectives are. Love me some Classic Sonic, from the first time I played the 8-bit offerings on the Master System 30-odd years ago.

Sonic 3 and Knuckles is still the best 2D offering, in my opinion. Love 2 and Mania, I've grown to like CD over time (especially with the 2012 port) and 1 is where it all started. S3&K will always be 2D perfection.
