Every single one of Dimash's music videos is like a mini movie and he switches genres with every one. Going from cyberpunk in Golden, pure comedy in Be With Me contemporary romance in Akkuym, art pieces with a story like Know and Love of Tired Swans, historical romance in Okay to his magnum opus of The Story of One Sky which he both composed, wrote the script and acted the main role. It took 3 years and a cast and crew of 400 people to bring to life.
Even his autobiographical work Omir has a beautifully put together video to accompany it.
I've never seen a music video from him that was anything less than perfection, he's got input into everything he does and is quite often seen examining the recorded footage as he has firm ideas on what he wants.
He self directed his music video for Qairan Elim mid pandemic and that is such a beautiful video, he was granted a scholarship to attend the New York Film School in Los Angeles but is still working on his PhD in musicology and felt it would take too much time from his music so gifted the scholarship to someone else who he felt would get more out of it.
He's probably got the greatest creative mind of our generation and his ability to switch genres, often within the same song is very different from any musician out there today.

Dimash's MVs are exceedingly cinematic and of very high quality. This MV was filmed in Astana Kazakhstan.  A very talented film crew brought Dimash's vision to life. Dimash produces all of his songs and also composed this one. Note the production company is DimashAli Creative Center which is wholly owned by Dimash and his family.

Dimash is currently in China making guest appearances on tv shows but will make his way back to Kazakhstan for his scheduled Sept concert in Astana. The concert sold out in a little over three days with 30,000 tickets. The demand is still so great Dimash has added a second day concert which will go on sale tomorrow. So far 9,000 fans from 40 countries around the world managed to snag tickets. Usually his concerts have up to 70 or more countries flying in to wherever Dimash's concert is being held in the world so the fans who did not get to buy a ticket will have one more chance. 😄His last concert in Kazakhstan was 2 years ago so this is a very hot venue for the Dears (fans). Kazakhstan is a very beautiful country to visit in addition to seeing and hearing the most beautiful voice in the world. Dimash puts on a fantastic show.

For cost reasons, it was filmed on location in Kazakhstan itself!

You'll probably like "The Story Of One Sky", with composition and production by Dimash who took 3 years to turn his idea into a video!

Dimash's official music video of "The Story of One Sky" is absolutely amazing.  Dimash composed the music, wrote the story line, sings and acts in it.  It has a searing heart-wrenching message that is especially relevant in todays world.

thank you for a different for me approuch to Dimashs video. You are very knowing. Dimashs videos are all very cinematic. His ode to life, Under one sky is really fenomenal with a very intricat story and very different settings. His songs in this is a very great deal of the visuel impact. His Know is pure art, and hes Be with me is funny and funky. His latest musikvideo Smoke is naughty. Hes got a lot more, all worth seeing. Also Yes. SMALL is a supermarkedchain that was part of the economic investers in the film. Greetings from Denmark.

His 13 minute and 40 second music video / short film called The Story of One Sky will have you enthralled and you will see more excellent movie making.

She is coming to interview DQ (Dimash) who no one knows about his private life. She is an unknown journalist. She then imagines or dreams her encounter with him as a vampire and she saves him from the darkness. Great lyrics that could be interpreted in many ways in many situations.

Many reactionaries listen only to Dimash’s voice and don’t notice the small details of the video, but you’re great, you notice everything and formulate your thoughts correctly

If you really want to watch a mini movie of Dimash check out "The Story of One Sky" MV. It`s his masterpiece (his heart message) on many levels. 😀

Dimash is from Kazakhstan & popular in countries throughout the world so the 88 number of crew were from various countries. Dimash is famous for his cinematic music videos, and he has done some film study in LA. He is an extremely highly trained vocalist and performs a wide range of genres. His biggest video production is the one he made for his song "The Story of One Sky" which had a budget in the millions. The song itself is an epic masterpiece of composition, arrangement, theme, and Performance. The video meets the high standard of the song. I hope you can review it. I love your way of analyzing and explaining the cinematic elements & hope you will develop an appreciation for the amazing musical talents of Dimash. Thanks.

Dimash the King of vokal

Welcome to the eargasmic world of Dimash.  You will find Dimash 's crew and collaborators all to be extremely professional and great at their craft. You can react to The Story of One Sky  which is longer than this one.

Thank you for looking at Dimash's music videos and sharing your knowledge with us! ALL of his music videos are absolutely stunning. I would recommend 'Love of Tired Swans' , & 'Know'. This one is very fun! Dimash looks great as a vampire. The camera LOVES him. He also models. He has a 7+ octave range and has been literally studying music, training, performing every single day for his entire life! :) The recording at the beginning and the end is 'The Flower Duet' by Leo Delibes form 1915 the soprano is Maria Alexandrovna Mikhailova (1864 - 1943) and the Mezzo soprano is Antoniana Ivanovna Panina (1870 - 1941) The quality of Dimash's videos is unmatched. He is part of every decision.

Really enjoyed your reaction!

The MV was shot in Almaty Kazakhstan, it's a small fancy boutique hotel. It's actually the same location from the outside as well.
Small is a supermarket chain in Kazakhstan and they have been sponsoring Dimash for a while now. His next concert is sponsored by them as well.
We all love the vampire costume! He wore it for few performances and concerts and we got to see it up close. There is so much details in it. It looks amazing!

Dimash is the kind of artist who does whatever he wants so he has many different MVs that each have their own style and feel. Everyone already recommended it, but I will recommend The Story Of One Sky as well. Dimash was involved in almost every part of that video, he composed the music and wrote the story\script for the MV for it.
Qiran Elim is another MV I would recommend, there Dimash helped direct it himself and even stood behind the camera for some of the scenes.

A very nice reaction with the accent on the "filming" element. I think that most people watching a movie or video will say they liked it very much, not necessarily knowing why - it just looked great and everything seemed to blend together naturally. I found your explanation of colour grading and especially the lighting to be enlightening - pun intended. Yes, others here have mentioned Dimash videos are always professionally produced and for some reactors will notice more the music and the vocals over the movie aspects, yet others concentrating the other way round. But even when Dimash sings live, you will see incredible visual effects that are obviously well thought through. You have found a rabbit hole into which you can float easily down through the musical life of Dimash (so far), at the same time,  lifting your heart and soul. Go with the Dimash flow and be prepared for surprises every time!

No one does an MV like Dimash.  I see other commenters have given you a list of his MV's so I will not repeat them but trust me they are so worth your time. You heard only a very small sample of his voice in this one. Please do more.

I really enjoyed this breakdown of the cinematography. ❤
You talk about my favorite things: stories/movies and Dimash. 😊

All of his music videos are stunning. And each one is different - just like his songs.

Dimash is a musical chameleon. One day he might sing opera and the next he sings pop, then he might rap or work on something with electronic sounds. 😅

The only thing that is consistent is the outstanding quality of his voice! And the work he puts into everything!

And his voice is one of a kind. I guarantee you, that when you listen some more to him, you won’t be able to name another singer that can do what he does. 😉

The story to this video is in the description. You can read it there. It‘s funny for us Dears (fans) because in real life he is known as a very lovely, humble, funny and respectful man, who cares a lot about peaceful coexistence, children, family, and his fans.
But he’s also very private.

And in this video an anxious newbie reporter is about to interview this private and lovely person and he turns out to be a vampire. (At least in her dreams…maybe) 😂

Thank you for the analysis. The MV was shot in Kazakhstan.

This is a great video for you to start out with to get a sense of the quality of his music videos especially given that he runs his own production company. The song, however, as good as it is, does not come anywhere close to showcasing his true vocal talents.
