Get the true Toby experience with these by turning the oven temperature down to get your meal 'barely warm' like in the restaurants

I'm getting the impression they have just rebranded cheap ready meals

When you said there from Iceland, I thought these are going to be bad, and guess what they are. Thanks to your honest opinion. I wont be rushing out to buy them.

Once the novelty of these wears off these will be in the clearance section and gone in a few months. Iceland are just dressing up their products to try and look premium by sticking a brand name on the front and winging it.

I don't think I've ever thought "If only I could have Toby Carvery at home, cooked from the freezer, it's just that good".

I would not want to be running my oven for the length of time needed, my electric bill would be astronomical

I used to work for icelands head office. I worked in finance but regularly was asked to taste test new products.  I really liked their attention to quality and affordability. They encouraged feedback from staff. I met suppliers on courses who ran the fishing fleets and froze the fish onboard before they came to Iceland be packaged. I dont work there any more but have comtinued to shop in store.  I probably will try the Toby range but prefer to make my own roast dinners.  Its good to have something on hand thats quick n easy to feed the family on occasion. Its good you are testing these meals too. I like their slimming world meals and own brand meals. Your opinions are good to hear. I wont try all the range at once lol. Just to have a few items in the freezer to cook with my own veg n gravy most likely. Xxx ❤❤❤

Glad I watched this before buying. Would probably only buy if on offer or half price. I like your honesty. I'm one of those people that when I see something new I like to try it.

They should be half the price, and even then, I'd probably buy something else.

You can go get a full carvery, freshly cooked for £10.99 at Toby. Would I rather have that or 3 of these???

Even better get a cheaper and better carvery somewhere else at a non-chain location

I tried a different Mac&Cheese from that range, than the one you showed, and to be fair it was pretty nice. It had "Slow cooked beef, Chicken&Bacon, in a sage & Onion cheesy sauce"

I might just take one of these to a TOBY carvery & ask them to pop it  into the microwave for me.😂

For the amount you paid for all the separate items you could get everything and cook it better yourself. Tray of 12 pigs in blankets are about 1.50 yorkies depending on the brand 50p,bag of potatoes again depending on the brand about 1.50.you can buy bags of frozen roasties which again are about 1.50,you probablyhave gravy already in,you can get a small cut of beef and probably pick up some chicken aswell and come in under the 50 that the frozen stuff cost and it will taste better.they are main made for easy use but arent cos effective. You can buy the big yorkies get the roast beef or chicken dinner supermarkets do put them together and it will still come in at less than the branded version.if you get supermarkets or generic brands you will still save money.

I appreciate your review as this is a range I may have tried just to see, and aside from the battered pigs in blankets, the rest seems a little disappointing. Thank you 😊
