Let’s not forget ATCO dragway was sold in 24 to “blackhorse LLC” and has sat vacant ever since. The pinelands commission put a block on em. This is clear after maple grove and now seeing this! Idk what happened to uno reverse maple grove but man im glad they did. I pass atco daily and live down the road from them for the reason of racing there and it literally kills me to see it empty.

What if the guy concocted this - buy IHRA, buy all of these tracks under the rouse of “oh they won’t close, they’re selling the tracks to IHRA!” To then go defunct and have no one in the way for when large companies buy the property at these auctions…

Data centers folks.Dragstrips are prime commercial property.Tons of cleared flat property with tax,noise and build exemptions usually undervalued.

Atlanta Dragway was once home to the NHRA Southern Nationals and it was shut down to build housing, then the development deal fell thru. North Ga is booming in new residential homes, and Commerce Ga will be swallowed up by the developers. IHRA buying the property last year makes you wonder what kind of scam they were trying to run
