I'd like to see a format comparing variants of a same chasis and how a chasis changes roles with variants. HBK-4G<>HBK-4P would be a cool example.

Survivability is huge on the Wolverine.  I like running/jumping behind the target, alpha striking the rear armor, and using the left arm to literally punch through to internals, looking for that head shot.

Of the unseen,"infantry-type" mechs I love the Griffin, but I have to admit that the Wolverine is likely the more effective and easy to use of the two.

My favorite 'Mech!  Glad to see it does well here!

Thank you for fulfilling my special request.  Another good analysis video!

...kind of surprised you didn't see any leg kills by that Awesome firing on the Wolverine.

Thanks

The only variant I'd take over the -6M in pretty much any scenario is the -6K. The Small Laser ain't much, but max armor and added heat sinks go a long way.

The WVR-6M is very good for hunting light Mechs and for flanking heavy support Mechs. The large laser may not be as powerful as a PPC but it has enough bite to penetrate the most locations on light Mechs and the rear torso armor of many heavy Mechs. The SRM-6 is a good crit-seeking weapon to follow up non the larger laser and finally the Wolferine delivers a solid kick. With it´s good mobility and armor the Wolverine can afford such risky moves.

Would love to see review of Thunderbolt mech - great analysis fellas!

Fantastic video, I really enjoy watching these!

Great video! The 6M is arguably the best medium 'Mech in the 3025 tech base, and the insane survivability against the Awesome proves it. I would like to see you do one of the most significant 'Mechs in the setting, Aleksandr Kerensky's Orion.

My Wolverine had an AC-5 standard. Loved it.

Locust 1M!! Do it!

I like these videos, but I'm curious why you settled on the javlin and the awsome as your testing benchmarks?

Of the original 55t mediums, wolverine was the best.

Personally I feel if you can do it, swap an AC/5 for a PPC.  You win 2-3 heat sinks, lose the ammo liability and if it's your main weapon you can still run and shoot (extra heat sinks and weapons excepted)  The 6M solves the ammo problem to a degree, but mediums tend to suffer with LL or PPC when they have lots of Jump Jets because there's rarely room to install 15-odd heat sinks and not lose armour/weapons that might be more useful.  6M is good when used carefully and still packs more straight punch than the 6R for a slight loss of range.

I would rate this as arguably the best all around mech in the game level one wise. Would be interesting if dropping a ML or downgrading the SRM6 to a 4 for another HS would impact performance.

These videos are great!

The later variants like the 7k are auto includes for the era.
