AYN Thor - 15+ Tips & Tweaks (Once You Finally Get It)

After spending some proper time with the AYN Thor, I've collected a bunch of small, more-or-less "secret" tweaks, apps and settings that genuinely made my Thor even more pleasant to use than it already was. None of the things shown here require you to root the device, and also, none of them require any kind of convoluted setup process.

In this video we'll set up quick launcher switching, screenshot and brightness button shortcut macros, turn the bottom screen into a touchpad and keyboard for GameNative, make file transfers and app updates easier, improve the speaker quality with ThorTune and JamesDSP (quite honestly, it's the first thing you should do after you get your Thor), go through the battery and charging settings, test charging separation with a USB power meter, take a look at the power bank charging, customize the fan curve, briefly touch on underclocking, and finish with a little TPU shell customization. That was a mouthful. The video goes pretty fast, so buckle up (and maybe don't drink coffee for this one).

So, you might be interested in this one if:
You've just got your AYN Thor and want to do some lesser-known useful tweaks after the initial setup.
You want to be able to set up better button shortcuts and get quicker access to your game launcher like on the RG Rotate.
You’re using GameNative and want to make better use of the bottom display (with the hybrid keyboard/touchpad mode).
You want to better understand the Thor's battery limits and how charging separation actually works on this device.
You want better speaker audio, thermals, and a few quality-of-life improvements.
