What will remain of Donald Trump's time as President of the United States? Will he have revolutionized politics? Permanently transformed the American economy with his tariffs? Is he a dictator, or a puppet? Will he stay for a third term? Patrice Roy discusses all these questions with his longtime collaborator, Rafael Jacob.

Rafael Jacob is a political scientist and research associate at the Raoul-Dandurand Chair at the University of Quebec at Montreal. He holds a PhD in political science from Temple University in Philadelphia. He has also written several books: "Trump Revolution" (2020), "America on the Brink" (2021), and "America Sees Red" (2025). He is a regular commentator on American politics in the media.

In this episode, he analyzes Donald Trump's control over the Republican Party, his record military budget, and his plan for a 51st state. He delves back into certain chapters of American political history, from Franklin D. Roosevelt's four terms to Joe Biden's "catastrophic" debate. Clearly, there's no shortage of topics for conversation.
