I agree that this is child abuse. He should have been on his cell, assuming he has one, reporting that crap to child services. The parents are total nuts. They know sister Linda is a liar and will embellish anything to make her point and get her way. I spent most of the time with a lump in my throat on the edge of tears for Ron. I have not listened to all of it yet but I hope he never forgives them and gives them hell every minute of every day until he can get out of there. He should never trust any of them again or deal with them any more than he absolutely has to. Linda needs to be severely punished to be absolutely certain she will never forget.

Oh how I can understand how Ron felt. Story brought back a few memories I had repressed from my youth.

The nice thing about this story is that after his parents punished the sister. It is wrong that they didn't listen to him at the beginning without checking with the other sister.

i kept listening. all i am is pissed off. no parents are dumb enough to not call the other sister before doing anything like that. but even before that if the dress was so important why wouldn't the sister have called her sister to ask first. this was just made to be a story to make ppl angry.

Seriously this one made me mad ASF. But I get the point of the story. Even if you suspect that a child you care for may be a CD, trans, or other or not the point is listen to your child. Then help them as needed. Don't force anything one way or another. This does not just apply to gender identity issues this also applies to life decisions like career choices, choices of friends or significant others. We should only guide them but stop them when we see someone is about to hurt or worse even killed. The ten commandments are the basic guidelines of what I speak. I am not very religious but these basic words do hold meaning to me. I am not forcing this idea on anyone or I would have quoted them. I am mostly venting from getting angry. We are talking about child abuse here. I value few things, but I value OBSTINANCE above all else. The Protagonist is not Defiant enough. I doubt that they could force him to wear dresses if he ripped them off himself while biting and screaming. If all else fails, there is always Seppuku. Failing that, I would definately report these deviants to Child Protection once I was free to do so. Having listened to ALL of it now, I'm horrified that Ron is willing to reconcile with the trio at all. He should leave home upon High School Graduation and NEVER speak to any of them ever again!

lol the hair remover cream would be down the plug hole, along with the unused bubble bath, and I would be taking a shower instead, next day I would bolt and get out of there post haste, and I would have stashed some spare clothes , if they had managed to force a me to put on a dress it would be shredded as soon as there was somewhere to change into normal boys clothes, I would stay out of sight and make them realize they were making a huge mistake

I wish my parents had done this for me

A story so well written, it brought up my own bitterness. Some wounding is so deep the psyche is forever altered. I did what I could and changed my last name, as it was the only way to divorce my entire family. That helped some, but it remains in the hands of God to heal me and let me forgive and forget. I am still praying for it after a half century.
Perhaps dementia is the blessing?

His parents are idiots. They should have given him the benefit of a doubt and checked Nancy's room first. If the dress wasn't there they should have called Nancy to see if she had the dress or was using it, and intending to let her sister lnow later that Nancy had borrowed her dress while she ws out.

Still not as dysfunctional parenting as my mom!
