This is some very impressive sculpting, and a shining exemplar of the true hobby way. If you don't like a mini, don't just complain about it on the internet, make it into something you like. And then complain about it on the internet because, frankly, you've earned it.

“I’m a bad sculptor.”

Does 90s-GW-level green stuff original sculpting

The amount of custom sculpting and the way everything looks completely seamless after it's painted looks absolutely amazing.

My problem with the Obliterators has been the fact that you clearly see, they are just sculpts made from other sculpts. You can see the Cenutrion, the Helbrute, and parts from other previous sculpts all just smashed into this. It makes feel a lot less like an original creation.

What Dave does here, makes it feel unique, and feel a lot like what the lore describes them as.

Dave, I wanna take a moment to just admire that sculpting work on both of them. The way the sinew attaches, and the care on how the arms are "holding" the weapons, really helps me as someone who doesn't know the lore too well get exactly what you're going for with the merging of flesh, metal and machine. Awesome work!
Looking forward to seeing more 💕

Can we just...take a moment to appreciate this man's hair volume?

If nothing else just adding that Terminator head makes such a MASSIVE difference in how an Obliterator reads as still being a Chaos Legionarie/Marine.

Great work! 👏

You're a goddamn wizard with Green stuff, cause that looks disgustingly awesome.

It's weird, because Games Workshop has a lot of experience with soldiers merging with their weapons - the entire tyranid range are just that, and the ad-mech are doing it too.

Trovarion screaming in bloody agony as you elect to do all that sculpting in greenstuff

Great work, super cool result. Looking forward to more!

As someone who's sculpting for 15 years, it is amazing what you have done as someone who is relatively new to it!

It's a lesson I have to relearn over and over: the most important thing is patience.

The transition from “footage” to “now the feet” was well played. 🍻

Personally, I can't wait to see how you do the various 'Marked' units (You should have 1 for each of the Gods, just to be "fair" and undivided) - It'll be interesting to see how you combine each Gods aesthetic with your own Alpha Legion scheme.

This demonized weapon arm is fantastic and the best part of the conversion. Great job❤

I can't believe a Southern Hemisphere gentleman doesn't appreciate Chaos Panties.
A sad day indeed.

i'd watch an entire series of just fixing and resculpting Warhammer sculpts

Loyalist terminator: Into the maelstrom of battle!
Obliterator: Channel the maelstrom of battle. Become the maelstrom of battle.

Glad to see you working on your own army and moving it forward towards your personal vision.  At least for me, this is the kind of stuff I most easily associate with and I hope everyone else enjoys it as well.

I love this project and video, got Dave doing some conversions he loves, with his army he loves, some badass formidable looking guys got, quite a pile of bits you went through, really great conversions. 10/10

Always loved the chaos terminator head but it really slays on the obliterator
