Choral chambers in silksong felt like the moment in hollow knight where you first walk into the city of tears. Great song and amazing cover as always!

It's always good when he busts out the contrabass clarinet

I described this piece to my choir director as:

“Do you want to hear the echoes of a once great church that has been empty and haunted for a long time?”

Choral Chambers without the choir? No one else could’ve pulled it off but this guy. Beautiful.

This song reflects the feeling of hollow divinity so well. You've essentially arrived in heaven to find it empty, its inhabitants replaced by corpses playing puppet to a higher being. Heaven was a lie and, though you knew it was, the corpses of the pilgrims around you make you feel a certain pitty for those braving the climb behind you.

I SWEAR I was about to open Silksong but was like, "nah, let's listen to some Luke's covers first"

this makes me think that when a group of passionate people produce a beatiful piece of art like Silksong, it inspires other artists around the world to create amazing covers and animations as a tribute. This is why i love the internet.
