You know you're pumped and scared when you drop one cam down the route and leave another in the rock un-clipped. We've all been there!

FWIW, did lots trad lat 90's early 2000's.
Climbed about 60 E1s, never fell or rested on a single one.
Climbed about 12 E2s and fell off 3 (first upgraded later to E3) rested on 3.
Got the message and I was kinda maxed out on my onsight grade.
Love seeing this.

I think that your climbing ablility is better than you think it is and that you should trust your skills more than you do....I understand your wanting to protect difficult moves, but if you watch your vids back you will see that more times than not you make the moves comfortably, this is definitely where mind control and breathing technique comes to the fore....do you climb to protect or protect to climb ??  Taking on succesfully an E1 route is great advancement so take confidence from those sucesses but never be afraid to step back down the grades to consolidate both your skills and confidence !!! I do enjoy your vids thanks😊

Good effort, it is exhausting listening to your breathing, if you could calm yourself with your breathing you could climb much harder still 🤟💪

Why don't you carry more gear.
