I remember using cheats and still couldn't finish the game, so I just messed around in the mansion for hours.

this game was just wayyy too hard back in the day, especially before the internet existed, i remember i would go to block buster to read game magazines to get tips

EIDOS intro; pure nostalgia

When life was simple and all you had to worry about was having enough space in your memory card ❤️😭

What was great about this game is the atmosphere. Almost no music, no signs or fake arrows on the screen, you see the health bar only when needed. It keeps the screen super clean for the images and gives a very "real" feeling and very adventurous vibes

I couldn't get through first level. Got quite far but more interested in locking the butler in the walk in fridge.

This is the first TR i ever played on my PS1 in 2000 with my dad. Still love it. This music and locations are brilliant. I wish someday they would remaster this one. My favourite TR.
and this EIDOS splash screen!! i'm getting goosebumps

The first level is like something you'd expect from mid-late game.

I could never finish this game because of the dark swimming sequences. My old TV was too dark and I couldn't see where I was going! So frustrating.

i still couldn't believe this game was on the same console as the first one. just look at the insane improvements they made, they learned so much from their past games.

For more than a decade, Tomb Raider 3's theme song is my wake up alarm clock . Days are brighter, i never wake up grumpy. The theme of all Tomb Raider's themes. Too bad they're not using it anymore.

the beginning of this game is so tough for me without this walkthrough

1998... Resident Evil 2 and Tomb Raider 3! I remember playing both games when i was a kid. Thank you for this video. The good old memories! Regards from Argentina! 😉

this is a masterpiece in level design. the first level is just incredible. can’t wait to play it remastered.

I never finished this game...

This was so difficult back in the day. I remember accidentally finding massive shortcuts to Jungle and Thames Wharf

I'll never forget playing these and the original Resident Evil trilogy with my cousin in the 90's until early morning lol. These were the best times! He's been gone for a while now, still feels like this wasn't that long ago.
