Ado did indeed put this band together, she also oversees the vocal production, and she gets them access to top tier producers for the musical production.

12:07 she's not saying "Just kidding", she's actually saying "I'm kind of kidding" or something like "half-joking". The "-ppoi" ending means "-like", as if you mean something half-jokingly or that it resembles/is kind of like something. I think that little difference makes the lyrics, and her look, even better.

These girls must practice 60 hours a week. They're really good.

You should checkout the BTS videos with them in the studio doing punch-ins (most with Ado coaching them). The style dictation done by Ado in coaching really does feed into why they mix so well together.

The word "Poi" is a Japanese onomatopoeia for tossing or throwing something light away.
So "Jodan-poi" means "Let's toss the joke out of the window" or "Forget about the joke, let's get serious.
In this context, it implies: "Should we stop being human? ...Just kidding, let's toss that crazy idea away!" It shows she is playing around with a dangerous thought but quickly throwing it aside.

You should check out Mikage Project, they are a Japanese trio with traditional instruments. They collect Japanese folk melodies and arrange them with Jazz element which sounds beyond good.
