Let's be honest Nadine is probably the smartest Uncharted villain that decided enough is enough and left without getting killed over the treasure

I love that Nate NEVER tries to kill Rafe. He just punches or kicks him.

I almost cried playing this part because I knew my favorite series of any movie, book, or game was coming to an end. This game is important to my nephew and me.

"Do you know how to sword fight?"
"Yeah, I stick you with the sharp end, right?"

"Enguarde, dickhead"
Best line ever.

What I like most about A Thief’s End is that there is no supernatural effect from the treasure..no smoke that turns people into zombies..no glowing ooze that superpowers humans and no “demon” locked in a vase....just a good old treasure hunting race between two men...this one really felt like playing an adventure film

I can't get over the fact that Rafe looks like Jake Gyllenhaal in Prisoners

I love how in the Madagascar market one optional conversation is Nate talking about how he wants a dog once it's all over and to call it Victor -  then in the end he has a dog called Vicky

I think we all can agree that Rafe has had one hellava crushing adventure.

What I find funny is that people don't get how deep  the symbolism behind the St. Dismas Cross and the links between the characters.

According to the Gospel of Luke, Jesus was crucified alongside two thieves. One thief, Gestas (the Impenitent thief) mocked Jesus for not being able to save himself. The other,  Dismas (the Penitent thief) accepted his fate with grace asking if Jesus would remember him in paradise, but was later promised by Jesus that he would join him in heaven.

Nate is a reference to Jesus Christ, as he is pinned against his own will, stuck between two worlds of family and the shackles of greed, ultimately entering paradise. (10:45)

Sam is an allegorical reference of Saint Dismas, who accepts his fate gracefully, willing to let Nate go while he dies on Avery's ship. However Nate is able to save him and joins him in paradise (Escaping Libertalia). It really is highlighted in 9:45 .

Rafe is a reference to Gestas, who constantly mocks Nate for teaming up with Sam, his inability to escape impending doom, and is very boastful about himself. His constant mockery would however prove to be his downfall (8:13).

And that's not even talking about the treasure. I could write a whole thesis about that.

The symbolism in this is mental.

Elena is absolutely wife goals

Cassie : bullshit                                              Nate: language.                                               Cassie: crap.                                                    Nate: that's better 😂

Elena and Nathan: language

Captain America:  Another family saved 😁

All I see is
Tom Cruise fighting Jake Gellenhal

This is definetely the best uncharted game. A villain who isn't a cliche and has realistic motivations, all the action of among thieves with the puzzles of drakes fortune, and an amazing ending for the charecters. I love it

14:51 - 14:58

Nate just describe what I felt knowing I beat the last game

"as thrilling as the next adventure might be, in the end you're always left with that same feeling. Sometimes you just gotta choose what you're gonna keep and what you're gonna let go." come on!!! what a brilliant line which describes exactly how I felt when i finished the game. It was like the developers talking to us.

and thus, the journey of Lara Croft began. Oops, wrong franchise.

While I still preferred Uncharted 2, this was a fantastic game and one of the best endings to a franchise ever done. I wasn't there from the beginning, but I was always able to have a respect for it. When I got the Uncharted Nathan Drake Collection, I deeply regretted not owning these games, cause these games, especially 2, was some of the best games I ever played. I loved the story, I loved the characters, etc. So when I finally played and beat this, even if I wasn't there since the beginning, I still felt like I've known these guys for all these years, and to have ND create the best sendoff for them, is something I applaud them greatly for.

so sad to see this great game it's end. after so manny years playing it this is the final chapter. r.i.p uncharted! who else felt a bit sad after the prologue?
