Warren was one of the most under appreciated musical artists of the rock era. A brilliant songwriter, lyricist and musician who truly marched to the beat of his own drum. He’s so sorely missed. Thanks so much, my dear, for giving his art a place to be seen.

Zevon was one of a kind. His cartoon character songs about excitable boys, werewolves, lawyers, guns, and money were not only great songs, but great social commentary within well told stories. He was the master. Died way too young at the age of 56. RIP

What a great surprise for a Monday morning. We just passed the 23rd anniversary of his passing. I’m so glad you are getting such enjoyment from his music. His music is probably the 2nd most played in our home. Have a great week😊😊❤❤

I discovered Warren Zevon three years before his death, when I heard 'Splendid Isolation' on the radio.
I am so glad I found his music—he truly was one of a kind.

I wanted to see him rub the pot roast all over his chest.

Warren Zevon and his short life producing incredibly deep body of work. Very respected by his peers. I see a lot of reactors listen to werewolves, which is a great song then they never hear his best work.

I was so fortunate to see him live in concert here in Milwaukee in 1989. The energy in that room, led by Warren’s “excitable” passion, was palpable.

Warren's last appearance on the David Letterman Show is worth watching, it truly was a great send off to a great artist!

You need to hear the studio version, the sax is out this world.

Saw him in a Charleston hotel basement bar maybe in 1994. He was solo. He said when you've pissed enough people in the music industry you end up playing in places like this. Opening for him was a founding member of 10,000 maniacs, who was accompanied by a woman on violin who sounded a lot like Natalie Merchant. It's was a great night. Oh, and his hair was perfect.
