Inspite of his bad health , Sri Sachin Dev Burman went on giving lilting hits , till 1978 ! He was taken to the hospital  & as the doctors began to treat him , he went into a Coma  &  was breathing for 5 months , in that condition & later succumbed to his failing heart ! 😢 . His last desire to return to his hometown , remained unfulfilled ! We, the Music lovers 🎶 are left with  non-stop  tears ! Our hearty  Pranams to the  highly-qualified & Musically inclined soul of  Sri SACHIN DA BURMAN !

Watching from Komilla, Bangladesh Burman da has become from Jamindar family of Kumilla. We are proud of him.

S d burman... The most precious gem in the world of music... His melody will always remain eternal for the music lovers

विनम्र श्रद्धांजलि संगीत के जादूगर को!🙏

Sachin Tendulkar is named after This God Of music....

You made a historical film of my most favourite music director Late SD Burman, thanks to RSTV, Dhanyawad.

People from Ttipura may be rightfully proud of him being from Tripura, but all Indians are proud of him being an Indian, and having created such memorable music. Not many MDs have sung themselves, Hemant Kumar and Kishore Kumar being the notable exceptions.

The collection of hindi film songs by SDB is rather limited, but what a precious collection it is! He sang with such feeling and emotion.

Asha Bhonsle in a recent Google interview mentioned that the computer music can create such wonders, software can correct a bEsur singer but it can never create the 'feeling' a live musician imparts to the song.
When I hear wahaan kaun hai teraa, suno mere bandhoorE, O mere majhee, ... I tear up at the depth of feeling he puts in the song.

And this is just his contribution to hindi film music. His non filmi misic, his bengali music, I can't even fathom how precious that is.

Sachin deo Burman had rare sense of music, performed memorable pieces of immortal art.

We cant never forget him...He will always be remembered & he will always stay in our heart❤

When S.K Jha says Saigal stood up when Sachin Da was singing a full song in Allahabad Sangeet Sammelan in 1934 it thrills us !

No one even come to close to Rajya Sabha TV.  You guys are doing commendable job.
