중학교때 스스로 공부법 찾기와 목표점은 수능이라는것을 다시한번 새겨 들었습니다^^

초2 적어도 1시간씩 책읽기를 하고있어요. 쓰기교재로 주2회하고있고 매일 읽은책으로는 긴글쓰기는 잘 안돼서요..처음 중간 끝으로 나누어서 3줄이라도 간단하게 쓰고 있는데 이렇게라도 시키고 점차 늘려가는 식으로 해도 될까요?
어쨌거나 초등 때 영어 제.대.로. 해 놓으면 고등에서 좋은 점이 너무나 많습니다.
한글책 수준이 너무 올라가니
영어책을 시시해서 안읽고싶어해요
나무집이나 드래곤마스터 이런걸로 겨우겨우 끌고가는데.. 그외에 쓰기는 전혀 하고있지 않긴한데
바쁘다바뻐 교재 사놓기만하고 미루고 있었는데 겨울방학부터 시작해볼까합니다.
초4이고 영어학원 주5회(1시간30분씩) 원서 읽고, 쓰고 말하기(아주 얇은책 3~4권씩)

단어 배운것들 잊어버리니 한번씩 쭉
묻고 공책에 써보기정도인데
괜찮은걸까요?
압도적으로 잘하려면 이거가지곤
택도ㅈ없을거같은데..
학년 올라갈수록 해야할게 너무너무 많은데, 영어도 이 정도 시간과 정성을 쏟지 않으면 좋은 점수를 받기 어렵다니 아이들 수준이 너무 올라가서 따라가기 참 어렵네요.
5학년 딸아이(ar 10.6) 스스로 몰입독서하고, 주 1회 400p 정도책 1권 읽고, A4 2쪽 정도의 독서록 작성하고, ai 첨삭 받고, reading path master 리딩서 주 1~2회 한두 유닛 가볍게 하고, 듣기는 자유시간에 본인이 본 책들 해외 덕질 영상같은 거 들어요. 주 1회 구립영어도서관 가서 활동. 내용은 쉽지만 친구들이랑 활동하는게 좋다고 하여 다니고요. 이곳에선 ar3점대 책들 읽는데, 본인이 읽는 책에 비해 귀엽고 재밋는 책들이 많아서 뭔가 쉬우면서 힐링이 되나봐요 . 학원을 안다녀봐서 사서쌤이 알려주시는 활동도 새로울 때가 많고요. 단어는 올해부터 하루 3개 정도 어원으로 외우고, 리딩서 할때 한두개씩 모르는 거 외우는 정도 해요.
이렇게 영어를 꾸준히 했고, 현상황에서 아주(?) 잘하는 편이고, 스스로 하는 아이 임에도, 늘 마음 한쪽 걱정이고, 영어 비중을 줄여도 걱정, 늘릴 시간도 없고.. 그나마 아이가 영어책 좋아하고, 자유시간 하는 활동이 영어 듣기로 유툽보는 거라 감사하다 하네요.
맨날 영어책 그만 읽고, 수학문제집 풀어 잔소리를 달고 하는데,...참 아이 키우는게 쉽지 않네요.
그래도 오늘 개학해서 오랜만에 여유로운 마음입니다 😊
영어는 어느정도 수준으로 올라왔다는 판단하에
지금은 영어보다는 수학에 좀 더 비중을 두고 있는데요..
막상 2학기가 시작되니 중학교 입학이 코앞으로 다가온 것 같은 기분에.. 급 걱정이 ㅎㅎㅎ
그런데 오늘 선생님 말씀 들으니 안심도 되고..
앞으로 또 어떻게 해야할지 감이 잡혔습니다!
물론 아들 녀석이 변수이지만요 😂😂😂

주변을 둘러보세요. 책 읽기를 정말 좋아하고, 스스로 꾸준히 읽는 학생이 몇이나 될까요?
그런데 국어든 영어든, 소위 입시학원 전문가들이 내놓는 해결책은 늘 비슷합니다.
“책을 많이 읽어야 합니다.”
물론 책을 많이 읽으면 좋습니다. 하지만 그건 ‘좋은 결과를 만드는 조건’에 대한 이야기이지, 지금 성적이 안 나오는 내 앞의 학생을 실제로 변화시키는 교육 방법에 대한 이야기는 아닙니다.
현장에는 어릴 때부터 책을 많이 읽었어도 국어·영어 시험을 못 보는 학생 수두룩합니다. 반대로 책을 거의 읽지 않아도 시험을 아주 잘 보는 상위권도 널려있고요.
그렇다면 우리가 정말 물어야 할 건 “책을 많이 읽어야 한다”가 아니라, "당장의 읽지 않는 학생에게 무엇을 어떻게 가르쳐야 실제 독해력이 만들어지는가"가 아닐까요?
전문가에게 필요한 것은 현실에서는 거의 찾아볼 수 없는 이상적인 학생에게 필요한 조건을 말하는 것이 아니라, 지금 눈앞의 평범한 학생을 변화시키는 구체적인 방법을 제시하는 것이라고 생각합니다.
