Everyone talks about the innocence and beauty of the relationship between devdas and paro and his self-destruction. But chandramukhi's affection for devdas was even more pure and full of reverence despite being a courtesan.

Only Madhuri mam can utter out those heavy dialogues like that so effortlessly, she was the real star of Devdaas for me ❤️ Beauty with such a great talent - a very rare combo !

Back then, we walked out from theatre after watching Devdas, we all were speechless,, there was immense sadness .....with calm. That's the power of Shahrukh. Of course Madhuri as Chandramukhi just stole the show. She is just matchless. A Diva.
We were in our teens then.
He is a icon. Can watch his performances repeatedly ..... Each time I get something new to catch. ❤️❤️❤️

The scene where madhuri put her hand into devdas s hand, and breaks down into tears, that scene is the best scene for me. Very touchy
