Hi, here is our birth story. I hope you have time to read it all.
But first, a fun fact: my boyfriend and I became a couple in February 2025, and we started watching Tom’s vlog together.
In September same year, we found out we were expecting a baby. We thought it was especially fun when we learned from the vlog that you were expecting a Little one too.
Our daughter, Elvy, was due on May 28th. But she hadn't arrived by then, and due to high blood pressure and the midwife not finding enough amniotic fluid, I was admitted to the hospital on May 30th.
I spent several days in the hospital trying all sorts of induction methods.
First, I took tablets every other hour, twelve in total. After that, they used a tampon-like insert placed in the vagina. It was attached to a string so it could be pulled out if contractions became too strong, but that didn't happen. So, it was removed.
Then they tried a balloon catheter. Of course, that didn't make much of a difference either.
So, we went back to the tablets! By this point, it was Tuesday afternoon, June 2nd.
The doctor decided to break my water at 7 PM. Around midnight, things were still quiet, so they put me on an IV drip. Two hours later, around 2 AM the contractions became so painful that I asked for nitrous oxide. At 3 AM, I got into position and started the pushing phase. She was born at 3:57 AM on June 3rd.
And since we’re from Sweden, we’re an hour ahead of you—meaning she was born at 2:57 AM your time. Two hours before Winnie i think?

Love hearing birth stories!
My son in 2023 I was induced due to him measuring so big! Had an epidural labour wasn’t to bad but I pushed for 3 hours he was stuck.. used forceps to remove him resulting in 4th degree tear and rushing through for a 3.5hr repair in surgery! The pain and recovery was horrible took 11 months to be cleared! Spent 5 days in hospital and my bladder failed after the catheter was removed so I had to have one put back in!
Fast forward had our baby girl end of 2025 via elective c section due not being allowed to birth vaginally anymore and it was the most amazing experience! A week and was pain free and myself home in less than 24hrs! Had such a better postpartum period. Both physically and mentally ❤️

I love hearing birth stories and seeing how different everyone’s experiences are! After going through a week of being induced in hospital using all methods to end in an emergency c section it was a lot but I wouldn’t change it for the world to get my baby boy again. I also was like Jenny and recovered so well from my section afterwards☺️ I’ve definitely got a lot more thoughts and choices about birth if I was lucky enough to have another

Honestly after giving birth myself I have a new found respect for what women can go through. It's mad how different all our births can be. I laboured for 12 hours and was lucky to have a water birth in a midwife led unit in our local hospital with an amazing student midwife and experienced midwife who coached me through everything 💚 I remember the pain disappearing as soon as I had had pushed enough for her head to come out which was wild to me 🙊
